Film Production

As a filmmaker, producer, and conservation storyteller, I provide creative and production support for documentaries, branded content, podcasts, digital campaigns, and cinematic visual storytelling projects across Uganda and East Africa. My role can range from consulting on a single aspect of production to managing and coordinating an entire project from concept development to final delivery.

With a background rooted in natural history, culture, travel, and human-centered storytelling, I approach every production with a strong emphasis on authenticity, atmosphere, and emotional connection. Whether working with lean independent crews or larger international productions, I enjoy finding creative solutions to ambitious ideas and helping shape stories that leave a lasting impact. Some of my most rewarding projects have involved bringing complex, unconventional, or logistically demanding visions to life in unique environments.

Film Fixing & Production Support

As a fixer and local producer based in Uganda, I work with international filmmakers, journalists, photographers, brands, researchers, and production companies seeking to film across East Africa. I offer on-ground production support for documentaries, television productions, conservation stories, expedition films, branded campaigns, podcasts, and digital media projects.

Having worked extensively within Uganda’s wildlife, conservation, tourism, and cultural spaces, I understand both the opportunities and the logistical realities of filming in remote and dynamic environments. My experience allows productions to operate smoothly, responsibly, and authentically while gaining access to meaningful stories, locations, and people.

Support can include location scouting, permits and coordination, crew sourcing, equipment hire, transport logistics, interview coordination, story research, talent sourcing, field production management, and access to conservation spaces, local communities, and tourism operators. Whether your project requires a single day of support or full-scale production coordination, I am always excited to collaborate and help bring powerful stories to screen.

Logistics & Field Coordination

Filming in East Africa often requires more than just creative vision, it requires strong logistical coordination, local knowledge, adaptability, and trusted relationships on the ground. I provide logistical and field production support for film crews, documentary teams, journalists, researchers, conservation projects, podcasts, and expedition-based productions working across Uganda and the wider region.

From remote national parks and river expeditions to urban productions and cultural stories, I help coordinate the moving parts that allow productions to operate efficiently and safely in complex environments. Support may include transport coordination, accommodation planning, field scheduling, permit assistance, customs guidance, fixer support, safety planning, local liaison work, equipment sourcing, and crew coordination.

Having worked extensively within tourism, conservation, and outdoor storytelling spaces, I understand the realities of filming in unpredictable environments and the importance of preparation, flexibility, and problem-solving in the field. My goal is always to help productions focus on storytelling while ensuring operations behind the scenes run as smoothly as possible.

Post-Production Support

Post-production is where stories truly take shape. I provide editing and finishing services for documentaries, branded content, podcasts, travel films, conservation stories, reels, and digital campaigns, with a strong focus on emotional storytelling, pacing, atmosphere, and visual impact.

Services may include video editing, sound design, dialogue cleanup, color correction, subtitling, social media cutdowns, trailer creation, music integration, and narrative structuring. I approach every edit with sensitivity to rhythm, tone, and story, ensuring the final piece feels immersive, intentional, and emotionally grounded.

Whether refining raw documentary footage from the field or shaping fast-paced digital content for online audiences, my goal is always to create films and visual experiences that feel cinematic, authentic, and memorable.

Wildlife & Documentary Photography

Alongside filmmaking, I offer photography services focused on storytelling, atmosphere, and authentic moments. My work spans conservation, wildlife, travel, tourism, culture, behind-the-scenes production coverage, portraits, and documentary-style photography across East Africa.

I approach photography with the same philosophy that guides my filmmaking, creating images that feel immersive, emotionally grounded, and connected to place and story. Whether documenting remote landscapes, capturing intimate human moments, or producing visual content for brands and campaigns, I aim to create photographs that are both visually striking and meaningful.

Photography services may include documentary photography, travel and tourism imagery, conservation storytelling, portraits, event coverage, production stills, branded content, and social media visual campaigns.

Field Recording & Podcast Support

I provide full-service sound production support for creators, brands, organizations, and storytellers looking to produce meaningful, high-quality audio and visual podcast content. Whether recording in studio settings, outdoor environments, or remote field locations, I help manage the creative and technical process from planning to final delivery.

Services may include concept development, creative direction, production planning, multi-camera podcast filming, audio recording, lighting setup, guest coordination, location preparation, and post-production editing for both long-form episodes and short-form social media content.

With experience producing conversation-driven content within conservation, culture, travel, and storytelling spaces, I focus on creating podcasts that feel visually engaging, authentic, and immersive while maintaining professional production standards. Whether the goal is education, entertainment, advocacy, or brand storytelling, I work closely with clients to shape content that resonates with audiences across platforms.
